1. About These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the RepairBook website at https://repairbook.co.uk and the RepairBook repair shop management software platform ("the Service").

By accessing our website or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

2. The Service

RepairBook provides cloud-based repair shop management software for UK businesses. The Service includes features such as digital repair ticket creation, job tracking, automated customer notifications, digital signature capture, and multi-staff access.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice where possible. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

During the pre-launch period, access to the Service is by waitlist only. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access or constitute a contract for services.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and operating a legitimate business to use the Service. By using RepairBook, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

The Service is intended for use by businesses operating within the United Kingdom. Use from outside the UK is permitted but we make no representations that the Service complies with the laws of any jurisdiction other than the UK.

4. Account Registration and Security

To use the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration and to keep this information up to date.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that we believe have been compromised or are being used in violation of these Terms.

5. Subscriptions and Payment

Paid subscriptions to RepairBook are subject to the pricing displayed on our pricing page at the time of purchase. All prices are in GBP and inclusive of VAT where applicable.

Founding Member pricing is available to users who join our waitlist during the pre-launch period. This pricing will be locked in at the rate displayed at the time of sign-up for the period specified.

Free trials are provided for 15 days from account activation. No credit card is required to start a free trial. At the end of the trial period, you will need to subscribe to continue using the Service.

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected at purchase. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. Existing subscribers will receive at least 30 days' written notice before any price increase takes effect.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. You must not:

• Use the Service to store, process, or transmit any unlawful, harmful, or offensive content.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or any third-party systems connected to it.
• Use the Service in a way that could damage, disable, or impair the Service or interfere with other users.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
• Resell, sublicense, or otherwise transfer access to the Service to third parties without our written consent.
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access immediately if we determine that you have violated these acceptable use requirements.

7. Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you input into the Service, including your customers' personal data ('Customer Data'). By using the Service, you grant RepairBook a limited licence to store and process this data solely to provide the Service to you.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have a lawful basis under UK GDPR for inputting your customers' personal data into the Service and for complying with your own data protection obligations as a data controller.

RepairBook acts as a data processor with respect to Customer Data. We will process it only in accordance with your instructions and our Data Processing Agreement, which forms part of these Terms.

On termination of your account, we will make your data available for export for 30 days, after which it will be securely deleted.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, content, and trademarks, is owned by RepairBook and protected by UK and international intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the Service.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Service for your business operations during the term of your subscription.

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you submit to us may be used by RepairBook to improve the Service without obligation or compensation to you.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, RepairBook makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Service, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant that any defects will be corrected.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, RepairBook will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms will not exceed the total fees paid by you to RepairBook in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

10. Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services. These integrations are provided for convenience and we do not endorse or take responsibility for any third-party services, their content, or their privacy practices.

Your use of any third-party services is governed by the terms and conditions of those services.

11. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or through the account settings within the Service.

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time if you breach these Terms, fail to pay subscription fees, or if we are required to do so by law.

On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email and update the 'Last updated' date on this page.

Your continued use of the Service after we post changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you should stop using the Service.
